Applicant Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be accredited from a Family Medicine Residency (Allopathic or Osteopathic) and board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
Eligible to obtain medical licensure and a federal DEA certificate in the state of Alabama prior to entry into fellowship.
Must be committed to Alabama Family Practice Rural Health Board’s requirement of one year return of service in a rural Alabama community with fewer than 25,000 citizens OR employment at a family medicine residency that teaches obstetrics to future family medicine physicians.
