University of Alabama Student Health Center and Pharmacy provides high-quality and easily accessible health care for UA students. The SHCP can meet most ambulatory medical needs of students, including primary care, women’s health, psychiatry, medical nutrition therapy and allergy/immunization services.

University Medical Center

University Medical Center, located on The University of Alabama campus, provides multi-specialty and patient-centered care for West Alabama in an environment that emphasizes primary-care practice and the education and training of learners by experienced and dedicated clinicians.

Behavioral Health Fellows work closely with psychiatrists and psychologists at UMC’s Betty Shirley Clinic and the Women’s Wellness Clinic. 

Whitfield Regional Hospital

Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis, Ala., is a member of the UAB Health System and is a Level 3 Trauma Center and Regional Stroke Center. In addition to medical and surgical services, the 99-bed hospital provides inpatient behavioral health services for both adult and geriatric patients and serves as a primary training site for multiple clinical programs.
