Dr. Jony Munholland is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.

Munholland, who is from West Monroe, La., holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. She received her medical degree from Edward Via University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Monroe, La., and has special interests in obstetrics and rural medicine.

After residency, Munholland plans to pursue a family medicine obstetrics fellowship.
