Dr. Brannan Martens is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.

Martens, who is from Birmingham, Ala., holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Auburn University in Alabama. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine and has special interests in rural medicine and sports medicine.

After residency, Martens plans to pursue a sports medicine fellowship.
