Dr. Valerie Camareno Collazo is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.

Camareno Collazo, who is from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamon. She received her medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Antigua and Barbuda and has special interests in geriatric medicine and obstetrics.

After residency, Camareno Collazo plans to pursue a fellowship in geriatric medicine or family medicine obstetrics.
