Dr. Javier Cintron is a resident with The University of Alabama Tuscaloosa Family Medicine Residency Program, which is operated by the College of Community Health Sciences.
Cintron, who is from Panama City, Fla., received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Ala. He has a special interest in academic medicine.
After residency, Cintron plans to practice outpatient family medicine while teaching and mentoring medical students and resident physicians.
