Stephanie Smith

Dr. Stephanie Smith, a family medicine physician with fellowship training in behavioral health, joined UMC in Tuscaloosa where she will care for patients. She is also an assistant professor in two departments at the College of Community Health Sciences – the Department of Family, Internal, and Rural Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine – and will teach the College’s medical students, resident physicians and fellows. CCHS operates UMC. Smith earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Ga. She completed her residency at the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine – Johnson City Family Medicine Residency Program. Smith completed a behavioral health fellowship at CCHS.
