Jordan Pharris, MD, is a PGY-1 at The University of Alabama Family Medicine Residency.
Pharris, who is from Morgantown, Kentucky, received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and secondary mathematics education from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. He received his osteopathic medicine degree from the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has a special interest in obstetrics, sports medicine and emergency medicine.
After residency, Pharris plans to practice outpatient family medicine in a rural area and incorporate obstetrics, sports medicine or emergency medicine.
