Our program offers five fellowships which are:
Hospitalist Fellowship
Our Hospitalist Fellowship lasts 12 months, and began in 2007 and was the first nationally certified proram of its type in America. The University Hospitalist service cares for more than 40% of admissions to a large (500+beds) academic regional referral center in West Alabama (DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama). Obstetrics Fellowship
Our Obstetrics Fellowship is a 12 month training program. Fellows are trained in Instrumental/Operative Obstetrics, Cesarean Sections, Dilatation & Curettage, Ultrasound, Sterilization Techniques, Coloposcopy, LEEP Procedures, Cyrotherapy, and Endometrial Biopsies. Sports Medicine Fellowship

Behavioral Health Fellowship in Family Medicine
A fulltime, 12-month program for physicians who have completed an accredited Family Medicine residency program. Exciting opportunity to gain in-depth experience in practicing Public Psychiatry in multiple settings with a primary focus on rural West Alabama. Rural Public Psychiatry Fellowship
A fulltime, 12-month program for physicians who have completed an accredited Psychiatry residency program.
