In addition, staff members of The University of Alabama may use services provided by the Alabama Credit Union, receive a staff discount for all University athletic events, and may use the University’s recreational facilities.
Tuscaloosa Family Practice Residents’ Association
The Tuscaloosa Family Practice Residency Association (TFPRA) is a social organization and advocacy group for the residents. All residents are members and expected to pay dues. The dues structure will be provided yearly by the TFPRA officers. Meetings are held weekly, usually on Wednesdays at 12:15 pm in the residents’ lounge with lunch provided.
Activities
1. Weekly meetings with lunch provided, all residents are encouraged to attend.
2. Seasonal Parties (Halloween, Christmas, Lampoon)
3. Journal Club
4. Educational dinners are provided by pharmaceutical company representatives.
